JC Bastidas serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Forensics USA Group with offices in New York, California, Florida and Arizona. He possesses extensive experience in Law Enforcement having worked in the world's largest Police Department.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Mr. Bastidas has worked in the New York City Police Department's Computer Labs, Counterterrorism, TARU, Detective, Risk Management, Narcotics, Warrants, Patrol and Transit Bureaus supervising Detectives and Police officers.
- Led forensic investigations for over 60 digital incidents involving data exfiltration, insider threats, and malware infections.
- Created detailed forensic reports and presented findings to legal teams and senior leadership.
- Maintained forensic lab tools and developed SOPs for triage and imaging.
- Collaborated with incident response teams during high-severity breaches to isolate and analyze compromised systems.

Forensics US Group was founded in 2018 by JC Bastidas, a digital forensic expert with over 21 years of Law enforcement experience. JC Bastidas has worked in NYPD Investigative Units where he as conducted investigations requiring extracting information from phones, iPads, laptops and desktop computers. Since then, Forensics USA Group have grown to become one of the most trusted providers of Digital Forensic services in the United States.
